The 5K Run, Roll and Stroll (+Play!) is The Lilly and Blair Foundation’s inclusive community event bringing together runners, wheelchair users, families, and supporters to accelerate research for children with SPG4.
Designed to be accessible, family-friendly, and mission-focused, this event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities — whether you run, roll, stroll, or cheer from the sidelines.
Proceeds directly support urgent research efforts advancing meaningful treatments for childhood-onset, de novo spastic paraplegia (SPG4).

A Look Back on Our 2025 Event
In 2025, the 5K Run, Roll and Stroll (+Play!) welcomed 150 runners, rollers, and strollers, raising nearly $7,000 to support urgent SPG4 research. The morning captured the spirit of the event — inclusive, energetic, and community-driven — from the starting line through time spent together afterward at the inclusive playground. Whether participants ran, rolled, or strolled, each person helped move the mission forward.
